Here you will find some information about our weekly routines and homework. As well as this, you will find some information about our Summer topic- A stitch in time. Regular updates and photographs will be shared with parents using the SeeSaw app so if you are not able to access this please just contact me. My email is taylor@lea-st-marys.lancs.sch.uk.

A stitch in time

Our topic for Summer 1 is a stitch in time. We will learn about how holidays have changed over time in Britain. We will learn how the railways in Victorian times opened up the country which lead to an increase in popularity for beach holidays.

In English we are studying biographies and later completing work based upon the novel Rooftoppers by Katherine Rundell.

In Art we are going to study the artist L.S. Lowry and try to recreate some of his more famous paintings using sketching and collage.

In RE our topic is the acts of the Apostles. We will learn of the many ways that the Apostles spread the good news after Jesus ascended to heaven; We will learn of our calling to be Apostles also.

In PE we will be going swimming again on Tuesday afternoons and studying team games on Wednesday.
